Meg Massey is the director of policy and communications at the Social Finance Institute. She is the co-author of Letting Go: How Philanthropists and Impact Investors Can Do More Good By Giving Up Control and her writing has appeared in numerous national and international publications. Her experience in outcomes-driven, impact-first funding models includes prior roles at the Urban Institute, GSG Impact, Upaya Social Ventures, and the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB), where she worked on early Pay for Success models. She earned her BA magna cum laude from Mount Holyoke College and her MA in American government from Georgetown University.
